Sanjana Galrani is an Indian film actress and model, born on 10 October, 1989 in Bengaluru, India as Archana Galrani. She is well known for her role in the film “Bujjigaadu: Made in Chennai” (2008), “Casanovva” (2012), “Ganda Hendathi” (2006) and “Cinema My Darling” (2016).

Sanjana Galrani got her first offer for modeling, when she was completing her PUC. She started working as a part time model, while she was continuing her studies. She has worked in more than sixty commercial ads. Her most notable advertisement appearance was a Fastrack advertisement with John Abraham.
Sanjana Galrani made her first appearance in starring role in the Tamil film with “Oru Kadhal Seiveer” in 2006, after appearing in several advertisements and uncredited cameo roles in the Telegu film “Soggadu” and Kannada film “Pandu Ranga Vittala” in 2005. But the film met withpoor box-office returns and negative reviews. In 2006, she appeared as the leading role in the Kannada film “Ganda Hendathi”, which is the remake of Hindi film “Murder” (2004) and the film itself is an adaptation of Hollywood film “Unfaithful” (2002). The film was also panned by critics.
In 2008, Sanjana made her Telegu film debut with “Bujjigadu” directed by Puri Jagannadh alongside Prabhas and Trisha Krishnan, where she played the role as Kangana. The film helped to gain considerable attention and popularity. Later, she appeared in the Telegu film “Police Police” in 2010, which was followed by a cameo role in the Kannada film “Huduga Hudugi”. In the same year, Sanjana also acted in the Kannada film “Mylari” opposite Shivraj Kumar and the film achieved a great success at the box office.
In 2012, Sanjana Galrani appeared in the Kannada film “I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona” and she got the best actress in the negative role award from the Bangalore Times for her outstanding performance. She also worked on several Malayalam films, including “Shaji Kailas” and “Casanovva”.
Recently, Sanjana Galrani has acted in the Kannada film “Mandya to Mumbai” and “Dandupalya 2” in 2016.
