Sheela Kaur is an Indian film actress and model, born on 2 August, 1989 in Chennai, India. She mainly appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films. She has appeared in almost 20 films as a child artist. She is best known for her role in the Tamil film “Nandha” (2001) and “Veerasamy” (2007).

Sheela Kaur hails from a Punjabi family. She was born and brought up in Chennai. She had her initial education from a reputed school and she got a good grade in her 10th class. She took off some time to act in films as a child artist, while studying in school. Sheela has acted in about twenty Tamil films as a child artist before taking a break from it to concentrate on her studies.
Sheela Kaur started her acting career in the film Industry when she was only 9 years old as a child artist. She got many offers from films in different languages such as Tamil, Telegu and Malayalam films. The films, in which beautiful Sheela appeared as a child artist, include “Poove Unakkaga”, “Dumm Dumm Dumm”, “Dheena”, “Golmaal” and “Nandha”. In the blockbuster film, “Golmaal” she featured as the niece of actress Aishwariya.
After a long break, Sheela made her film debut as an actress with the Tamil film “Ilavattam” where she played the role of Lakshmi in 2006. In the same year, she entered into the Telegu film Industry with the film “Seetha Koka Chiluka”. In 2007, she was given a chance to feature in the Malayalam film “Maya Bazaar” as the role Maya along with superstar Mammootty. The film went on to blockbuster hit at the box office.
Then Sheela made her debut in the Kannada film with “Prem Kahani” in 2009, which was directed by famous filmmaker Chandru. Later, she acted in several Telugu films, including “Adhurs” (2010), “Parama Veera Chakra” (2011), “Maska” (2009) and “Makeup Man” (2010).
Sheela is an actress, who was able to win the hearts of the audience with her photogenic and innocent looking face. But the luck didn’t favor while she returned back to the film industry as an actress and she started getting offers from only supporting roles. However, this didn’t hamper her spirit of acting. She has accepted whichever roles she has got and tried to give her hundred percent to them.
Currently, she is living in the UK and focusing on acting in Tamil productions to grab more attention and opportunities towards her.
