Ozan Guven is a Turkish actor, who has acted in a lot of Turkish film, TV series and theater plays. His most notable roles are “Second Spring” (1999), “Balalayka” (2000), “Bir Istanbul Masali” (2003), “G.O.R.A.” (2004), “A.R.O.G” (2008), “Canim Ailem” (2008), “Yahsi Bati – The Ottoman Cowboys” (2009), “Dragon Trap” (2010), “Magnificent Century” (2011).

Education and Career:

Ozan Guven completed graduation from the Department of Modern Dance in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University. He took acting classes at the Izmir Municipality Conservatory. He spent 15 months in military service and has also played on Cem Yilmaz as well as television series such as “Second Spring”, “Growing Flowers”, “My Coach My”, “Asli and Kerem”, “Bir Istanbul Masali” and “My Life Family”.

Since his student life, he has acted in many TV series and films, including “Ikinci Bahar”, “Balalayka”, “Canım Ailem”, “Yahsi Bati”, “Ejder Kapani” and “Muhtesem Yuzyil”. In 2000, Guven received a Promising Young Actor Award at the 22nd SIYAD Turkish Film Awards. He also won a jury special award with other actors in the 10th CASOD Actor Awards.

Personal Life:

Ozan Guven has lost his father while he is driving at the age of 7. He grew up with his aunt in Turkey in 1981 and he is originally a Bulgarian immigrant. He was married to Turkan Derya in 2005 when they met the “Second Spring” titled lineage but she was divorced in 2010. They have a son named Ali Ates Guven. He has recently played the role of Borislav in the film “The Scarlet”. Guven  has a shoe shop in the Besiktas Bazaar in Istanbul.
