Kishore is an Indian film actor, born on 14 August, 1974 in Karnataka, India. He has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films. He is best known for his role in the film “Ulidavaru Kandanthe” (2014), “Aadukalam” (2011) and “Haridas” (2013).

Kishore completed his graduation from the National College in Bangalore. During his college days, he started working in theatre through doing plays in Kannada, including “Teregalu” and “Samrata Ashoka”. Then he earned his master’s degree from Bangalore University in Kannada Literature. He started his career as a teacher in a college in Bangalore, where he worked for two years. Later, he worked as a part-time fashion designer under the fashion designer Vidyasagar, a professor from Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT).
Kishore started his career in films by appearing in a Kannada film “Kanti” in 2004, which is marked as his film debut. He got this opportunity after being recognized previously when he worked as costume designer for this film. He went on to win the State Award for his performance in this film. He made his debut in Telugu film industry with the film “Happy” in 2006.
After working in several Kannada films, Kishore was asked to be advanced by the film Director Vetrimaaran, who was searching for an actor who could speak Tamil with a Kannada accent to act in the film “Desiya Nedunchalai”. The film got dropped, but he got the chance to act in the Tamil film “Polladhavan” in 2007. He made his first appearance in Malayalam film with “Thiruvambadi Thamban” in 2012.
Kishore appeared as the role of forest brigand Veerappan in the Kannada film “Attahasa” in 2013. After appearing in this role, he won a lot of praises from the entire film fraternity and the critics. In the same year, he starred in the Kannada film “Jatta” where he played the role of a forest guard, which was so far Kishore’s biggest critically and commercially successful film. In 2016, he has acted in the Tamil film “Kabali” along with superstar Rajnikanth as the role of Veerasekaran.
Kishore has a number of upcoming films, which will be released in 2017, including the most awaited Kannada film “Alpa Viraama”, Tamil film “Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2” and “Vada Chennai”, which are under filming.
