Elena Kazan is German-Russian actress who appears in German and Indian films. She was born in Moscow, Russia. Her father is an economic teacher and mother is a nurse. She spent her childhood in Ukraine before transferring to Berlin with her family. She got her higher studies from a University of US. Elena Kazan went to India to work with a volunteer organization in Kolkata and there she taught the German language.
She traveled widely in India and learned to speak in three years of her travelling. Kazan worked as an interpreter in Kolkata with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. During her work in Kolkata she worked as a Unit Hand in an Australian short film shot in Kolkata, and she got the opportunity to work in a Bengali film. In 2010 she acted in the Bengali film clerk opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee.
In the next year 2011 she appeared in a hindi film named Gandhi to Hitler. In the same year she appeared in two Bengali films Rangmilanti and Egaro. Later in 2012 she made a cameo appearance in the film agent vinod, starring saif ali khan and katreena kaif. In 2013 Elena Kazan portrayed her first big role as Tabassum Habibi in the film john day. In the same year Kazan portrayed the role of a Czech gypsy girl in Prague, who comes to India to find her identity. Her next Bollywood film was AASMA in which she plays the role of a Kashmiri girl.
In 2014 she played the role of a NGO worker’s wife in the Bengali film taan. In the next year 2015 she appeared as a teacher in the film Uvaa. In the same year Elena Kazan was co-starred in the German-Philippine, English film ‘Ruined Heart’. In 2016 she participated in the reality show big boss: season 10 with the wild card entry. Elena Kazan known several languages such as English, Hindi, Germanm, French, Russian, Spanish, Arabic. Nothing is known about her marital or relationship status.
