Bhanushree Mehra is an Indian film actress who has mainly appeared in Telugu, Tamil and Punjabi films. She was born on 19 November, 1986 in Amritsar, Panjab, India. She is well known for her role in the film “Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad” (2013) and “Punjabian Da King” (2015).

Bhanushree Mehra was born in a middle class family with small earning and her family lived in Amritsar, Panjab. She entered this life twisting world of the film industry with the hope to gain fame. She did her schooling in Dehradun, Uttatkhand and then migrated to Mumbai, Maharashtra to pursue graduation. She completed her graduation in the department of Mass Communication from Sophia College in Mumbai, India. After completing her graduation, she started searching for a job, but every job made her depressed.
Bhanushree Mehra started her acting career with modeling for commercials and print ads. She made her debut in film with the Telegu film “Varudu” alongside actor Allu Arjun and Arya, which was directed by Gunasekhar in 2010. In this film, she played the role Deepthi and she was seen by Allu Arjun just once in the shot of the wedding, which was just a promotional character for publicity of the film. The film opened an average review and it was a box-office bomb. Due to the failure of this film, Bhanushree remained unnoticed and didn’t get any offer for main roles in the Telegu film industry. Before the film “Varudu”, she tried her luck in Bollywood film industry, which succeeds her to fetch a cameo appearance in the film “Bachna Ae Haseeno” in 2008 as Mahi’s friend. In this film, she appeared with the superstars like Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba.
In 2011, Bhanushree made her debut in Kollywood with the film “Udhayan” as the role Manimegalai alongside Arulnithi and Pranitha, which was also failed at the box-office. Later, she started appearing mostly in the low-profile Tamil and Telegu films in the following years, including “Ding Dong Bell” (2012), “Govindudu Andarivadele” (2014), “Brother of Bommali” (2014), “Vizhi Moodi Yosithal” (2014) and “Ala Ela” (2014). Subsequently, she made her debut in her mother tongue, Panjabi language film with “Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad” in 2013 as the role Roop. Then she also appeared in two more Panjabi language films, “Oh My Pyo” (2014) and “Punjabian Da King” (2015). In 2016, she made her first appearance in the Kannada language film with “Deal Raja”.
Currently, Bhanushree Mehra is trying to impress her fans with her upcoming Hindi film “Boys Toh Boys Hai” and Tamil film “Simba” in the year 2017. She would be seen in the upcoming Telugu films, including “Maharaja Sri Galigadu” and “Lingadu Ramalingadu”.
